珍珠泉风景区，位于南京市浦口定山西南麓。距浦口火车站及浦口轮渡7公里，鼓（楼）珍线公交车直达景区。本景区属北亚热带湿润性季风气候。景区四季景色宜人：春季桃红柳绿，夏季林木葱郁，秋季天高气爽、层林尽染，冬季红梅傲雪。全年适宜旅游。

区内丘陵起伏蜿蜒，为老山东延的一部分。主要由白云岩、石灰岩组成，怪石嶙峋，山峰嵯峨。妙高峰、狮子峰、芙蓉峰矗立于北侧，最高峰为妙高峰，海拔255.5米。山峰环合，林木葱茏，谷深幽峻，碧水涟涟，泉逐云影，明珠万斛，情趣横逸。以山秀、石美、水丽、泉奇之雅誉著称。

早在南朝时期，梁武帝为高僧法定建定山寺于狮子峰下，香火缭绕，珍珠泉即始于斯时。后印度僧人达摩折苇渡江至定山寺，面壁数载。明清时代以珍珠泉为中心建楼、台、亭、阁三十余座，已形成了融山水园林为一体的优美景观，游人络绎不绝，被誉为“江北第一游观之所”。

1984年南京市人民政府决定重建景区，并列为江苏省重点七发旅游项目——南京珍珠泉名泉旅游服务部，度假区以“金陵四十景”之一的珍珠泉风景区为中心，占地区14.76平方公里。区内除有诸多南朝、明清等文化遗迹，还有为人们所欣赏及正在开发建设的景点及娱乐场所：珍珠泉源头，镜山湖游船、竹筏，观鱼、垂钓，媚泽亭，春风亭，梅海凝云，野趣及林下活动区，高尔夫球场，扬子鳄养殖园，跑马场，射箭场，木屋，石窟，幸运游乐宫，万国山庄，定山阁餐厅等。

珍珠泉风景区对于生活在日益拥挤喧嚣的城市人来说，环境的清新与宁静已是金钱难买之物了。景区内的湖光山色，足以将纷乱繁杂的心绪滤净，让人获得少有的静谧与清鲜，似有一种回归大自然母亲怀抱的温馨舒适感。她是南京市以自然景观为主体，融旅游观光、休闲娱乐、度假疗养为一体的好去处。

    A Brief Introduction to NanJing Pearl Spring Tourist and Holiday Resort.
    NanJing Pearl Spring Tourist and Holiday Resort is Located at Ding Mountain in Pukou District, NanJing, With a total area of 14.76m2.lt has a superior geographical position--just10km away from the center of NanJing city, and a favour able investment environment. In the Resort, there are green hills, clear waters, splendid stones and especially the wonderfulview--the pearl spring in addition to the rich tourist and natural resoures.
